When ordinary conversation is not enough

Some thoughts deserve more room than everyday life gives them.

  • You have a topic you could happily explore for hours, but nobody around you shares the fascination.
  • Friends or family care, but they are busy, too close to it, or simply not interested in this particular subject.
  • The thought crosses disciplines and loses something when forced into one expert's box.
  • You want genuine curiosity, informed questions, and someone willing to think alongside you.
  • You do not need a programme or action plan. You want a real conversation.

The hour

Bring the thread. See where it leads.

No worksheet. No required outcome. No need to turn curiosity into self-improvement. The conversation follows what becomes interesting and useful.

  1. 01

    Start anywhere

Bring a topic, question, idea, fascination, or thought that is still hard to name.

  2. 02

    Explore it together

Matthias listens, asks, contributes, challenges, and makes connections across fields.

  3. 03

Let value take its own shape

A new angle, clearer language, a surprising connection, a decision, or simply a satisfying conversation.

What to bring

Anything worth thinking about properly.

Something you are fascinated by

A scientific, philosophical, cultural, or wonderfully niche subject you want to explore properly.

Work and business

A strategy, difficult situation, product idea, or changing industry that deserves another perspective.

Technology and society

What is changing, what it could mean, and which connections others may be missing.

A creative thread

An unfinished idea, piece of writing, artistic direction, or possibility you want to follow.

Life and direction

A transition, choice, or question that benefits from being said out loud without becoming a coaching exercise.

Why Matthias

A wide-ranging mind, not a prescribed method.

Matthias Orgler has spent more than 20 years moving between software, business, leadership, organizational change, teaching, and professional music.

He is comfortable with analytical, human, practical, creative, and speculative questions. He enters unfamiliar topics quickly, follows complex threads without simplifying them too soon, and enjoys finding connections between fields.

When he has a relevant opinion or experience, he will contribute it. When a thought needs challenging, he will challenge it. But he is not steering you toward a predefined answer or outcome.

  • Software engineer with computer science and business background
  • More than two decades across technology, organizations, and leadership
  • Experienced teacher and facilitator
  • Former professional musician

Questions

Before you book.

What can I bring?

Almost anything you genuinely want to explore: business, technology, philosophy, science, culture, creativity, work, life, or a difficult-to-name thought. It does not need to be a problem, and it does not need to end in a decision.

Do I need a clear question or goal?

No. A topic, fascination, unfinished thought, or vague sense that something is worth exploring is enough. We can find the interesting part together.

Is this coaching or therapy?

No. There is no coaching programme, prescribed outcome, diagnosis, or treatment. This is an engaged conversation. If you need mental-health care, please choose a qualified professional.

Will Matthias give me advice?

When he has a relevant view, experience, or connection, yes. He will not withhold it to preserve a coaching method. Advice is available, not the point of every session, and you remain responsible for your decisions.

What if the topic is outside his expertise?

That is welcome. Matthias will not pretend to be a subject expert, but he enjoys entering unfamiliar territory, asks informed questions, and often notices useful connections across fields.

Why pay for a conversation?

Because the hour is reserved for sustained attention to a topic you care about, with someone who wants to go deep, can follow complex threads, and will participate without bringing a personal stake or social obligation.

How does payment work?

You book without paying. After the session, you receive a payment link and choose what the hour was worth to you. The suggested reference is €100, but it is not a minimum or expected payment. Pay more, less, or €0. No explanation is required.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes. What you share stays private, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent immediate serious harm. Do not share information you are not authorized to disclose.

Where are Walk & Think sessions available?

Walk & Think sessions are available in and around Frankfurt, Germany, depending on distance and scheduling. Video sessions are available worldwide.
